Although, the Nigerian U-18 Basketball team lost the final of 2010 FIBA-Africa junior tournament by a narrow margin of 62-63 points to Egypt in Cairo Saturday, but they qualified for the Chile 2011 U-19 Women World Championship.
Coach Aderemi (Nigeria) described the championship, where the Nigerian team did not lose any match until the final, as very challenging for them.
The team, according to coach Aderemi, worked hard to qualify for the U-19 Women Championship slated for 21-31 August next year.
